- The digital whiteboards approved by Aalto are Microsoft Whiteboard and the whiteboard included in the Zoom Workplace software. Both work in a browser or as a separate application. Both are also available as mobile apps. Log in to the systems with your Aalto ID.
Zoom Whiteboard features
Get started by opening the Zoom app and selecting Whiteboards from the left-hand navigation. If needed, read the onboarding instructions.
- Integrates with Zoom meetings. Also works without a videoconference.
- Broader feature set than Microsoft Whiteboard.
- Includes ready-made templates and the ability to save personal templates.
- Created content can be exported to other formats.
- A simple shareable link lets participants join. The owner can, if desired, grant participants access to the board without signing in.
- Teachers can create multiple pages using the same or different templates, so multiple groups can work simultaneously on different whiteboard pages without disturbing each other.
