How to use Microsoft Whiteboard
Microsoft Whiteboard is available in Teams. You can find it via the three dots at the bottom of the Teams menu (View more apps).
How to use Whiteboard
In the upper left-hand corner is the My whiteboards -button. Using that you can either create a new whiteboard or open an old, earlier saved whiteboard.
There are four buttons in the upper right-hand corner.
The button on the right takes you to settings.
With the button second from the right, you can invite people to share the whiteboard. The person you invited, will get an email. You can also invite people from outside of Aalto University who do not have an Aalto University email address.
The button second from the left opens the whiteboard in the browser.
The button on the left opens a timer on screen.
On the lower edge of the whiteboard there is a toolbar.
From the third icon from the left (Inking) you will get a toolbar of different pens.
By clicking a pen, you can change its color and the thickness of the line. Clicking the tick mark on the left closes the ink mode toolbar.
You can find more options for tools behind the three dots on the right-hand side.
The Add note or note grid -button (fourth from the left) adds a note.
With the undo button on the left next to the toolbar, you can cancel or redo an action.
