ThingLink interactive media

ThingLink is an educational technology platform that allows you to enrich images, videos and 3D objects by adding interactive media elements such as text, images, videos, audio, 3D objects, URLs, embedded content from the internet, polls and multiple-choice tasks.

Briefly

  • With ThingLink, you can add interactive elements to your media content and combine them into engaging, activity-based learning experiences.
  • ThingLink content can include gradable tasks, and the results can be automatically transferred to the overall assessment in MyCourses.
  • ThingLink is easy to use and requires only a web browser and an internet connection.

You can also use 360° images and 360° videos to create immersive content, such as virtual tours of environments that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to visit.

In ThingLink, you can build interactive content into differently routed learning experiences (scenarios), where participants make choices and the content adapts accordingly. These can include various types of safety training, customer encounter simulations, and more.

ThingLink is integrated into the MyCourses learning environment. Assessment results from any gradable tasks included in the content can be transferred to the MyCourses gradebook.

With the ThingLink mobile app, you can view virtual supplementary information added to physical environments (AR, Augmented Reality).

ThingLink allows you to create easy-to-use, visual learning experiences in a cloud-based service using just a web browser.

You can also enable a button in the content that allows users to switch to the accessible version.

At the end of this page, you will also find a link to ThingLink’s accessibility statement.
