Master's Programme in Information and Service Management

Master's Programme in Information and Service Management is the most tech-savvy programme at the Aalto University School of Business. The ISM programme shapes students into future leaders of the digital era with a unique combination of leadership, business and technology. ISM provides students with in-depth expertise in developing, managing and leading data-heavy businesses, making graduates highly sought after in the job market.

Bachelor's Programme in Design

The Aalto School of Arts, Design and Architecture is one of the most prestigious design schools in the world and the leading design school in Northern Europe. The Bachelor’s Programme in Design prepares students for designing future products, services and systems in a creative and critical manner. Design as a concept is no longer linked to purely physical objects but digital experiences and abstract concepts as well, enhancing its power to shape the world. Thus, students are given the freedom to define themselves as designers, each finding their own ways of working and direction when exploring problems, developing solutions and forming opportunities. After completing their diverse bachelor studies, students are admitted the right to continue their studies in one of the five Master’s Programmes available.

Master's Programme in Industrial Engineering and Management

The Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) programme provides students with the essential skills and entrepreneurial mindset to create and transform technology-based businesses. Our programme is a unique combination of engineering, business and leadership studies that will empower you to create value and sustained competitive advantage for organisations as a top-tier future leader. Graduating engineers from the programme are prepared for challenging positions to solve the most complex business problems including crafting strategies, developing daily operations and designing future organisations.

Aalto Bachelor's Programme in Science and Technology - Chemical Engineering

Do you want to apply mathematics and computational techniques to chemistry, biochemistry, life sciences, and chemical engineering? In the Chemical Engineering major, you have an opportunity to excel in these and many other fields with a solid and modern engineering background which you will get in this programme. Aalto Doctoral Programme in Science

The Doctoral Programme in Science is a multidisciplinary programme with a unique combination of science, technology and business. The research done is committed to high standards of international excellence and the aim is to educate doctoral students in different research fields to tackle increasingly complex societal challenges in areas such as energy, environment, health and well-being. The doctoral programme offers a four-year doctoral programme in physics, mathematics, biomedical engineering, computer science or industrial engineering and management.

Master's Programme in Collaborative and Industrial Design

Are you interested in learning the strategic and technical skills necessary for design innovation? The Master’s programme in Collaborative and Industrial Design (CoID) focuses on the role of design in society, and prepares you to work as a design entrepreneur and in a range of roles within industry, business, communities, education and the government. Pinja Helasuo, preparing for Wappu: We are in this together

According to physics student Pinja Helasuo, the most challenging thing in daily life during COVID-19 has been tolerating spending all the time in the same room. The Guild of Physics and Helasuo’s closest friends and family have helped her cope. Helasuo was also involved in launching the WappuApu fundraising campaign to prevent student loneliness.
