Bachelor's Programme in Economics

The Economics programme is for analytical students who are fascinated by complex challenges such as climate change, global inequality and financial instability. We are looking for analytically minded and intellectually curious students who share our passion for understanding how societies work. We offer world-class training that combines analytical, computation and data processing skills that are high in demand and open the door to a wide range of careers.

Bachelor's Programme in International Business, Mikkeli Campus

The Bachelor’s Programme in International Business (also called the BScBA Program) provides students with a comprehensive range of skills and knowledge to build, develop and lead companies on a global scale. A bachelor’s degree in business with an international focus opens up a wide variety of career opportunities in the private and public sectors, across all industries and continents. If you have global ambitions in any form (e.g. study or work abroad), the Bachelor’s Programme in International Business is for you.

Organised at Aalto University’s Mikkeli Campus, you will join a close-knit community of globally oriented and ambitious Finnish and international students. After the intensive Bachelor studies, including a semester abroad at one of the programme’s many top-tier partner universities, you are guaranteed the study right at a Master’s Programme at Aalto University Otaniemi Campus.

Familiarise yourself with the application processes by selecting the field and degree level suitable for you. The bachelor’s degree is a lower university degree preceding the master’s degree studies. The master’s degree is a higher university degree.

Master's Programme in Accounting

The Master’s Programme in Accounting prepares students for producing and using financial and non-financial information to control and manage companies. Accounting, whether financial accounting or management accounting, is at the heart of every business and a critical part of planning and decision-making in companies. Accounting graduates possess invaluable and highly universal know-how for succeeding in different organisations across all industries and continents.

Master's Programme in Creative Sustainability - MSc in Economics and Business Administration

The Creative Sustainability (CS) programme provides students with the skills and knowledge to foster sustainable development through business. To overcome major societal and environmental challenges, students with different backgrounds are united by the creative solutions, hands-on methodologies and shared values that characterise the programme. Graduates are well-prepared for leadership positions that require harnessing business understanding to reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Master's Programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management

The Master’s Programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management (EIM) provides students with an entrepreneurial attitude and skill set that can help them to create new businesses or innovate existing businesses. Addressing problems related to business, society and the environment requires creative ideas as well as a solid understanding of customer and market development. The program offers a learning experience where theory and practice are highly interlinked, preparing graduates for entrepreneurship-inspired career paths – ranging from founding and growing a startup to leading innovation inside any organization. To get a headstart in these careers, students are invited to join Aalto’s renowned entrepreneurship community and student-led initiatives such as Aaltoes, Slush and Junction.

Application to one-year CEMS MIM

CEMS Master's in International Management (MIM) is a one-year programme open for Aalto students that includes an exchange semester at another CEMS university, CEMS courses, an extensive business project, an international internship, and seminars familiarising the students with skills required in working life.
