Unisport - Exercise and much more
UniSport offers sporty meeting spots for members of the academic community at the two universities’ six campuses. At UniSport you can try out and engage in both traditional and novel activities: examples of our wide range of options include gym training, group exercise, ball sports, combat sports and dance. The main objective is to gain new experiences rather than try to excel. UniSport caters to both the body and mind.
Every student and staff member of Aalto is entitled to use sports services offered by UniSport. UniSport service points are located at Aalto University’s Töölö and Otaniemi campus sports centres and at the University of Helsinki’s City Centre, Kumpula and Meilahti campus sports centres. High-quality sport services with an easy access are seen in Aalto as cornerstones for wellbeing. Provided by UniSport, students and staff have wide network of different services near them offering over 60 different sports.
How to get the UniSport services with Aalto University prices?
To gain the UniSport services with student or personnel price, take along your student card, or other proof or study right at Aalto, your personnel card/badge or copy of your working contract when visiting your nearest UniSport for the first time.
Employees who don’t have an official personnel badge of Aalto University, and other non-employed members of staff who are working at Aalto University or retired personnel of Aalto, are entitled to use UniSport’s services and facilities at staff rates with a "Certificate for using UniSport servuces and facilities". Ask the certificate from your department's HR personnel.
