Planning your studies

In the Codas programme, you will study your first academic year in one university (entry university) and second year in another (exit university). On the first year, there are basic studies common to all partner universities. On the second year, you can specialise your studies based on the university you study your second year. In addition to compulsory courses, there is flexibility to choose from wide list of elective courses.

As you will graduate from entry and exit university, you need to complete at least 60 ECTS credits in both universities. The thesis is 30 ECTS credits and it is counted in both universities' records, as the thesis is supervised by both universities. In addition to thesis, you need to complete at least 30 ECTS credits in both universities.

In Codas programme, physical mobility period to another university on your second year is a compulsory part of your degree. In addition, it is possible to complete courses online from a third partner university in the Codas programme.

Personal study plan (HOPS)

In practice, study planning consists of two things: selecting the content for your degree based on your interests and goals and scheduling the selected studies. The outcome of study planning is a personal study plan (HOPS), which is required from all students. The starting point of study planning is the most recent curriculum of your programme.
