Research

Research in the Department of Art and Media encompasses different practice-based, arts-based, artistic and other forms of research activities in a wide range of fields within arts and media. These include art education, contemporary art and curating, media culture and heritage, new media design and learning, photography, visual communication design, and visual culture, as well as sound design, game design, and interaction design. Our research is coordinated through several active research groups and focus areas as listed below.
