Aalto Visual Communication Design (AVCD)

The AVCD group is actively involved in researching the role of visual communication design and visual thinking in a wide range of applied fields with societal impact, including sustainability, education, ageing, health and well-being. Beyond conducting research on fundamental topics related to visual communication design, visual thinking, and visual design process, the group covers research in areas such as visual narratives, storytelling, information design, and visualization.
