Accenture has a long history of collaboration in the School of Business, especially with the student associations and now they take a strategic move to deepen the collaboration also in teaching, research and supporting students’ transition to the work life.

Accenture is a global professional services company with leading capabilities in digital, cloud and security. They combine experience and specialized skills in more than 40 industries, and offer Strategy and Consulting, Interactive, Technology and Operations services. There are 799,000 people globally in 49 countries serving clients in more than 120 countries.

In Finland Accenture has around 1100 professionals working with clients’ cases in all possible industries. They want to make their work visible to our students: what are the skills needed, how does Accenture work and how to use the technologies available to make the business better. The collaboration in teaching, research and career-related issues gives us the possibility to do just that.

‘We've been showing up at Aalto events for years, meeting students who are sharp, ambitious and full of ideas, students who don't just want to understand the business world but reshape it. Every time we walk away thinking we want to do more. This partnership lets us do exactly that. To show students what meaningful, complex work actually looks like from the inside, and being part of those moments when someone is figuring out what kind of professional they want to become. We've seen the talent. Now we want to help nurture it.’ Says Rachel Mäkinen, the HR Director in Accenture.

Accenture has been a frequent visitor in our Aalto Talent Expo and other student events. With this new partnership, the scale of the collaboration can be widened even further when Accenture can support the students’ job search skills and broaden their course participation. School of Business students have also always recognized Accenture as an interesting employer, too. During the summer of 2026 Accenture had a record number of summer trainees from the School of Business.
