Sisu and DPSP clinics for doctoral students
Doctoral education services offers an online clinic once a month to support doctoral students in using Sisu as well as in drawing up their Doctoral Personal Study Plan (DPSP). If you have any questions, join us online!
We will help you with:
- Sisu technical issues such as creating and updating a study plan in Sisu, course registration, credit transfer application, claiming credits for independent studies and appying for graduation, as well as various error situations in Sisu. See also Sisu instructions for doctoral students.
- General questions about creating your DPSP and using the MyStudies platform. See also DPSP instructions.
If you have questions about course selections and planning the content of your studies or research, please contact your supervising professor.
Clinic overview and instructions
The clinic begins with a brief 5-10 minute introduction or demonstration on a variety of topics. Following this, participants are divided into breakout rooms based on their doctoral programmes. Generally, a planning officer or coordinator from each programme is available, but even if a representative from your specific doctoral programme is absent, you will still receive general guidance.
Multiple students can join the breakout room simultaneously. Be ready to share your screen if you have a technical question.

The clinics are held every second Friday of the month starting at 9:00. The clinic session ends 10:00 at the latest (or earlier, if there are no more questions). The dates are:
