Embodied Experience of Costume (external link)

A four-year Costume in Focus research project on the sensorial and somatic dimensions of costume. The artistic research is practice-led, spanning live performance, animation films and virtual costume.

Darkness Library Suomenlinna (external link)

A wooden pavilion that gathers and shares residents' site-specific knowledge of darkness in Suomenlinna, developed within the Caring Commons research project.

Critical Cinema Lab

The Lab hosts a project Images of Harmony and Rupture - Documentary Film Reflecting Fractures in the Scandinavian Welfare State Ethos. It is funded by the Kone Foundation and headed by
Professor Susanna Helke. DAs Jouko Aaltonen and Timo Korhonen work as postdoctoral researchers.

The Fashion/Textile Futures research group explores new perspectives on human-centered design research. The group approaches research in the field of fashion, clothing and textiles in multi-faceted ways.
