Developing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Aalto University

We are committed to further developing our community into an equal, diverse and inclusive place to study, work and collaborate in. Our operating model stresses community engagement, accountability as well as proactive and systematic development.

Instruments guiding our D&I development

  1. Aalto University Equality Plan - The University Equality Plan outlines our current state and future goals for development. The three-year equality plan is supported with annual school-specific action plans.

  2. Aalto Diversity & Inclusion strategic roadmap - Diversity and inclusion are embedded in Aalto University strategy, values and ways of working. Actions towards greater diversity and inclusion are being developed, implemented and followed up on as part of the strategy work. The roadmap for 2022 - 2024 is under development with community feedback gathering underway in Spring 2021.
