Finance
You can complete the minor in Finance at Aalto Open University.
Content
A minor in Finance provides a fundamental understanding of the models and theories of corporate finance and investment decisions, as well as an ability to apply them analytically in practical settings. The majority of the Finance courses are taught in English.
Registration for minor studies is done on a course-by-course basis. There is no separate registration for the entire minor.

Structure of the Finance minor (24 ECTS)
The minor in Finance is 24 ECTS. The mandatory courses are:
- FIN-A0103 Fundamentals of Corporate Finance,
- FIN-A0104 Fundamentals of Investments ja
- FIN-A0105 Fundamentals of Financial Markets and Institutions.
In addition to the mandatory courses, the minor must include one elective course, either FIN-A0106 Personal Finance or 28A00110 Rahoituksen perusteet.

Form for minor studiesOpen University will check your studies. If studies fulfill the requirements, the minor is registered to Aalto University study registry. You will receive a transcript of records including the minor studies and other possible studies completed at Aalto University. Processing the minor applications will take approximately 1-2 weeks.
