Career monitoring surveys

Aalto University Career Services follows the career development of our graduates five years after graduation. Career development monitoring is conducted as a part of a national survey on academic graduates with the Aarresaari Career Services network representing 13 Finnish universities. The information on this page is based on data deriving from this survey.

Employment of the graduates

The situation in the labour market of our Master's degree graduates according to the survey conducted five years after graduation. 

95 % of the employers value the degree and 85 % of the respondents would recommend the degree.

90 % are satisfied with the degree in relation to their own career.

More than a quarter (28 %) of the graduates work in small or medium-sized companies. 22 % work in large companies. 21 % work as entrepreneurs.  10 % work in universities and municipalities employ 9 % of the ARTS career monitoring survey respondents of 2017.

95 % of the graduates were employed or were entrepreneurs five years after graduation. 5 % of them were given a grant.

The average salary of the respondents in 2007 is 3900 € (medium)

The survey was conducted in autumn 2022.
