Fixed: Aalto network services unavailable in Otakaari 5 and Otakaari 7

Update 28 August: Aalto network services work normally in Otakaari 5 and Otakaari 7 buildings. The issue was fixed on 27 August 2025 at 13.17.

Original news:
Aalto network services are down in Otakaari 5 and Otakaari 7 buildings. The reason for the downtime is a local power outage in both buildings.

We are working on fixing the issue as soon as possible.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

What can I do?

Use your mobile hotspot to set up a connection to your computer/laptop. Remember to also use Aalto VPN to set up a remote connection to use Aalto’s services.
