AI in Teaching and Learning – Support and Training for All Aaltonians

Generative AI is becoming a core skill in university teaching, learning, and research – and Aalto University is here to help you get started.

Since April, the Aalto AI Assistant – a secure, university-provided tool based on the same language models as ChatGPT – has been available to all Aalto users: teachers, students, and staff. Whether you’re exploring AI for the first time or looking for concrete ways to use it in your courses or daily work, you now have access to tailored support, hands-on training sessions, and a comprehensive self-study package.

After just an hour or two with the learning materials, you’ll gain a solid understanding of what generative AI is, how to use the Aalto AI Assistant, and what ethical principles guide responsible use. The key is simply to begin – confidently and with the support of your university.

Join one of the upcoming webinars or workshops designed especially for teachers. Learn through real-life examples, try the Aalto AI Assistant in practice, and get guidance on how AI can support your teaching. All Aalto users are welcome.
