Travel by Land Workshop

Are you going to study a semester abroad and you would like to make your travel experience more sustainable and meaningful?

Aalto University Learning Services welcomes everyone to join Travel by Land Workshop, where you get to hear stories from students who have crossed Europe by train, learn about Erasmus+ mobility grant for green travel and already start planning a trip of your own!

The event is targeted for Aalto students planning to go for exchange studies or double/joint degree in Europe, but everyone interested in greener travelling are welcome to join!

Time and place:
21 April 2026 at 14-16
Aalto Design Factory (Puumiehenkuja 5A), room "Studio" (2nd floor)

Event agenda:
- Info on Erasmus+ mobility grant for green travel
- Students' experiences, tips and lessons learned
- Workshop: Live demo on how to get started with travel planning and help to plan the trip of your own

Please register to the event at the latest by 19 April. Coffee and tea will be served.

Please bring your own laptop to start your trip planning at the workshop!

International Joint Degree Programmes

Aalto University offers international joint degree programmes at master-level together with its partner universities in over 20 countries. These programmes have separate application periods and admission procedures from the rest of the master's programmes offered by Aalto University.
