Aalto Digi Platform

Aalto Digi Platform

Aalto Digi Platform is an open community for anyone interested in digital technologies.

We bring digitalization-related research fields together and foster collaboration between Aalto and society at large.

We help arrange community events and organize larger events to spark public discussion and showcase Aalto's research.

Additionally, we accept and assess seed funding applications.

NeuvoJubilee

Yrjö Neuvo Jubilee Seminar

Professor, Research Director Yrjö Neuvo’s career ranges from ground-breaking results in signal processing research to a Senior Vice President position in Nokia during the early times of the mobile phones, and finally to facilitating multidisciplinary research and the transfer of knowledge from university to industry. He has led significant national initiatives developing competence and R&D&I. Professor Neuvo also had a pivotal role in the formation of Aalto University, as a member of the preparation committee set by the Finnish Government. For Yrjö Neuvo, transfers between technology and people, and between various research disciplines, as well as between industry and academia have always been natural.
