UN-Habitat
The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is mandated by the UN General Assembly to promote socially and environmentally sustainable towns and cities. UN-Habitat is the focal point for all urbanization and human settlement matters within the UN system.

The UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for people forced to flee their homes because of conflict and persecution. They lead international action to protect refugees.
Finn Church Aid
Finn Church Aid is Finland’s largest international aid organization. They believe in everyone’s right to peace, quality education and sustainable livelihoods, and work with the most vulnerable people, regardless of their religious beliefs, ethnic background or political convictions.
STCDA
The Stone Town Conservation and Development Authority (STCDA) of Zanzibar is a Governmental institution responsible for controlling and managing conservation activities in the Stone Town World Heritage Site (WHS).
RLabs Tanzania
As a part of the global RLabs movement, RLabs Tanzania tackles poverty and enables people to become their best selves by unlocking a mindset of possibility. RLabs work with challenging the development sector to empower people to transform their own lives, rather than trying to do it for them.
BRRI
As a part of Ghana’s Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the Building and Road Research Institute aims to encourage demand-driven and problem-based research. BRRI also offers effective training and technology transfer that is closely aligned with the socio-economic development of the country.
KNUST
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana advances knowledge in science and technology through creating an environment for undertaking relevant research, quality teaching, entrepreneurship training and community engagement to improve the quality of life.
University of Rwanda
The University of Rwanda supports the development of its country by discovering and advancing knowledge and creating applied, evidence-driven, research focused on problem solving. Their aim is to develop interdisciplinary, problem-based academic programmes aligned with the country's development needs.
