Our mission at the career services of the School of Business is to help students find meaningful careers. It is important to gain work experience during studies, either through summer jobs or internships. We assist students in gaining work experience by providing information about suitable job and internship opportunities on Aalto JobTeaser. The School of Business also supports students' domestic and international internships with grants and vouchers.

We recommend students use a variety of job platforms when looking for a job, but we also offer a university-specific closed platform. At Aalto JobTeaser you can find job and internship ads targeted to Aalto University students. In addition to internships and summer jobs, thesis work postings as well as permanent jobs suitable for graduates are published on the platform. A significant portion of the job ads are public and can also be found on other platforms, but you can also find from time to time positions that are exclusively available to Aalto University students in Aalto JobTeaser, so we warmly recommend actively following the platform.

Internship support in Finland

We encourage our students to undertake internships during their studies. The goal of internships is to get acquainted with the tasks of one's own field of study and to promote the development of professional expertise. 

Big companies offer many internship positions for business students in Finland, but internships are also available in other sectors. Are you interested in doing an internship in a micro, small or medium-sized company? How about in the non-profit organizations or in the organizations or ministries of the Finnish government? Some of these internships may require internship support from the university. School of Business students have the opportunity to apply for an internship voucher in order to get an internship at places that require this support.

Grants for internships abroad

Gaining experience in an international environment and working in different cultures are particularly the goals of international internships. The Business School supports the professional development and internationalisation of undergraduate students (bachelor's and master's level) by awarding grants for internships abroad.

The School of Business grants three international internship grants, BIZ's international internship grant and travel grant as well as the Erasmus+ internship grant.
