Campus bikes and cycling

On the Otaniemi campus you can find campus bikes for the use of Aalto personnel, carrier bikes for personnel and all student events, HRT city bikes as well as bike maintenance points. The mode of transport has a significant impact on the environment and Aalto strives to offer the most sustainable way of transport between campuses and within. Aalto and ACRE cooperate with HRT and nearby cities.

Carrier bikes

Carrier bikes can be borrowed by Aalto personnel and all student events on Otaniemi campus.

Bike maintenance points

At these self-service work stands anyone can maintain a bike for free!

Aalto University has bought two fixed BFIX work stands. The maintenance points contain the equipment necessary for servicing a bicycle – pump station, maintenance stand and toolkit, and a QR code to a mobile guide. Using the work stand is free to anyone using a bike. The locations for the maintenance points are Otakaari 18 (Otaniemi), and Runeberginkatu 14-16 (Töölö).
