Peer review - TEE 2020

The internal peer review is a review of the programme self-evaluation between two programmes. The schedule of the peer evaluation is May to September 2020. The peer evaluation can be conducted digitally, if needed. The peer evaluation is supported by external facilitation. The facilitation will schedule and coordinate the evaluation, and also produce the summary of the peer evaluation.

The target of the peer review is to benchmark, learn of best practices and development ideas, provide support for programme management skills, and offer a platform for peer networking.

The outcome of the peer review is a brief summary of review (=‘great practices to share’) and a vision for the programme. The peer discussion is estimated to require 1/2 day, and the formulation of the summary and the vision similarly 1/2 day. A template will be provided for the peer review. It is also recommended that the results of the peer review are reported to the teaching staff and students of the programme. External facilitation will be offered to support the peer review.

The peer review is intended to work also as a rehearsal for the audition of Aalto University coming in 2022; the audit will include a mandatory bench learning phase (see FINEEC guidelines).
