The 5G Hack the Mall summer course

During this summer, the international summer course will be coordinated from Aalto University's Otaniemi campus where students will look for uses for 5G technology. 5G Hack the Mall is an open online course where students develop their ideas for 5G-based products and services together with several business partners.
Finnish and foreign degree students, as well as students from general upper secondary schools and adult students can again participate in the intensive course.
Students do not need to have prior knowledge of 5G technology. The course is open to students from all fields, as 5G technology plays a key role in the development of new types of products and services, for example in education, healthcare, industry and services, or the creative industries.
Register now
Registration for the course is now open and will end on 27 May. There are a limited number of places and they are filled in the order of registration.
Aalto students can register for the course via Sisu from this link.
Other Finnish higher education students, general upper secondary school students and adult students can familiarise themselves with the course details and register for the course through the Fitech network of Finnish universities of technology. Click here for the course.
“5G solutions play a key role as companies look for solutions to the challenges of digitalisation. It is wonderful to see that our business partners are enthusiastic and intend to bring great challenges for the summer course participants to solve. The summer course will also include a lot of additional content for company staff and others who are interested in the field, which will be specified later,” says Riku Jäntti, Professor and Head of the Department of Communications and Networking.
