The Campus Sustainability Team is looking for a person, entity or activity, which serves as a good example to others, takes concrete action or in some other way significantly brings Aalto University and its campus closer to reaching its sustainable development goals. Leave your suggestion - even small actions matter!

This year, the theme of the competition is "Belonging", which refers to social sustainability and community on campus. The winning proposal could be related to, for example, education, research, or art, multiculturalism, biodiversity, or perhaps a new initiative towards a more communal campus.

Submit your nomination here before 9th September!

Campus Sustainability Champion is now chosen for the seventh time. In 2022 the winner was the vegan Kipsari restaurants on the campus. Sasha Spurna, Space 21 concept and Bioblitz event received honorary mentions.

The winner will get a small prize and a lot of fame and good visibility as a promoter of campus sustainability. The winner will be announced in conjunction with the ACRE Day in October 2023.
