School of Electrical Engineering awards dean’s incentive scholarship to 558 students

The dean’s incentive scholarship of €500 for good academic progress in the academic year 2022–2023 was awarded to 558 students at the School of Electrical Engineering. The students have been informed about the scholarship and its payment. 

The scholarship will continue to be awarded on the same grounds as before for studies completed in the academic year 2023–2024 (i.e. courses that are marked as completed in Sisu between 1 August 2023 and 31 July 2024).  After the current academic year, the future of the scholarship as well as its possible award criteria will be discussed and the outcome will be communicated to students in the spring of 2024. You can find further information about the award criteria and other conditions on Student Guide (the criteria applies to all students of the School of Electrical Engineering).

The application period for the scholarship awarded based on the academic year 2023–2024 is in September 2024. The scholarship is not awarded automatically to students meeting the award criteria. Students wishing to be considered for the incentive scholarship must apply for it during the application period. Applications submitted after the application period are not considered. Students who appear to meet the eligibility criteria in the beginning of September 2024 will be sent a link to the application form to their Aalto email address. Students who have completed studies that have not yet been entered into the student information system at the start of September for reasons such as credit transfers or have not received the link for some other reason, may ask for the link from the student services by sending an email to [email protected].
