Mentimeter presentation tool now available for use at Aalto

Aalto University has acquired a Mentimeter license for staff and students. Initially, the license is for one year and extending the license is considered based on the usage.

Mentimeter is an interactive presentation tool that allows you to engage your audience with real-time polls, votes, word clouds, multi-choices, and Q&A questions.

Mentimeter makes lectures, workshops and meetings inclusive and measurable – you receive feedback right away and can guide the discussion with data.

Why Mentimeter?

  • Boost engagement: everyone can participate anonymously from their own device.
  • Real-time insights: results visualized instantly and you can adapt on the fly.
  • Rich question types: word clouds, ratings, multiple choice, open-ended responses.
  • Easy setup: runs in the browser with no installations required; participants join via code or link.
  • Easy reporting: save results and share summaries effortlessly.

Popular use cases for Mentimeter are lectures and seminars, team meetings, strategy workshops, trainings, kick offs, and customer or stakeholder events.

Note: Mentimeter's AI assistant is not in use at Aalto.
