Loan laptops available for students from IT Services for short-term use

IT Services has a new service: we lend laptops to Aalto University students for short-term use.

All Aalto students can borrow a Windows laptop for exams for one to three days. Additionally, students from the School of Arts, Design and Architecture can borrow Mac laptops for projects or courses for one to four weeks.

The teacher orders the loan laptop; the student does not place the order themselves. IT Services recommend that the loan be requested at least a week before the laptop is needed. This ensures that IT Services can guarantee the device's availability and prepare it accordingly.

The Safe Exam Browser program (SEB) and Microsoft Office package are automatically installed on the laptop.
