Demolition work and test blasting on Metallimiehenkuja

NCC Suomi Oy will conduct exploratory excavation, drilling and blasting work, which will generate environmental noise at Metallimiehenkuja 6-8.

The excavation will include pre-splitting drilling and blasting. The first test blasts will be carried out on Thursday of week 11 (March 13, 2025). The blasting times are 9:30–9:45 AM and 1:30–1:45 PM. The test blasts will define the schedule for the

Further high noise level work will continue according to the previously distributed schedule from February 3 to November 15, 2025, on weekdays from Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and, if necessary, every other Saturday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Regular construction work may also be carried out outside these time windows.

Pedestrians are advised to pay attention to heavy traffic near the construction site.
