Data Agents are researchers who work to improve data management in their department, school, or unit. They are a practical, hands-on, first point of contact resource to researchers in their department.

Are you interested in becoming an expert in research data management and in helping others to better manage their data? When helping your colleagues, you are not alone and will get support from our Research Data Management Network, which includes researchers, information specialists, IT specialists, and legal counsels. Your responsibility, besides providing support and raising awareness of data management, will include giving short training and helping in developing our data support network.

Besides obtaining expertise in research data management, your salary costs will be partially compensated! 10 % of your salary will be paid by the Aalto Research Services. No prior knowledge is needed – just your interest and enthusiasm to make science better by spreading good data management practices. However, we do appreciate prior experience in open science, such as openly shared data or software.

Please submit your application and CV by the 21st of April at the latest to [email protected]. Please ensure that your supervisor supports your application.
