The Dean has appointed Jussi Rantamäki as Executive in Residence for the period 1.8.2024 - 31.7.2027.

Jussi Rantamäki is a film producer and Managing Director of Aamu Film Company. He works long-term with a few film directors and produces international, auteur-driven films. The content drives the form of the film. Therefore, every film production is a prototype that has to be handcrafted and recreated over and over again. Independence, creativity, perseverance and openness are important values in his work.

In addition, the Dean has appointed Nina Laurio (TaM) to the Department of Film for a permanent position as Lecturer. The lectureship has started on 1.2.2025 and will be in the field of Film and TV Production.
