Maturity demonstration (in the language of education)

The maturity demonstration in the language of education is an assignment required for both the Bachelor’s and the Master’s degree, written to demonstrate a command of the thesis topic area and proficiency in the language of one’s education. The official language of one's education can be only one of the national languages Finnish or Swedish, not e.g. English.

The Language Centre checks the language of maturity demonstrations written in Finnish or Swedish. The language of maturity demonstrations written in English is not checked. If the language of the Bachelor’s degree maturity demonstration is approved, no language check is needed later for the Master’s degree.
