The School of Arts, Design and architecture has educated creative hands and minds since 1871

From Craft School in Ateneum to the School of Arts, Design and Architecture in Otaniemi the name and curriculum of the school have changed through the decades, yet the school has always stood as a forerunner of societal change. In 2021, Aalto University’s Arts & Design ranks as the 6^th best in the world according to the QS University Rankings. Our students and alumni make an impact on a wide spectrum in society both nationally and internationally.
