IPR & copyright: How to cite images and unconventional sources

Info series for doctoral students every Thursday - arranged by Doctoral education services.

IPR and copyright issues can be tricky during your doctoral thesis writing. In this info session we will discuss citation styles and citing unconventional sources.

The info will include:

  • Short introduction to scientific reference systems / citation styles
  • Endnote tool for referencing
  • Referencing to images and uncoventional sources, e.g. artistic work (collaborative work), infographics, AI generated content, social media.

The info session is open to all doctoral students at Aalto University. No registration is required.
