Not just a happenstance – serendipitous innovation in inter-firm networks
Väitöstilaisuus DI Jari Laine

The dissertation "Serendipitous innovation in inter-firm networks" was focused on the formation and governance of a voluntary, loosely connected but goal orientated network of firms based on local accumulation of knowledge and operating under serendipitous circumstances. As the result of this study, a conceptual model of the network evolution process is presented, suggesting that serendipitous innovation networks built and governed as presented, can be used to search for solutions to complex problems.
