Study on a challenge-based course with a focus on digital technologies. During two intensive lecture weeks, students work in international teams to plan digital solutions for real business cases from partnering companies.
Future-oriented introduction to climate change and its relationship to human activities, built environment and health. The course is open to architects, designers, artists, planners, health professionals, policy developers, activists and optimistic future-makers!
In this open online course, we will look at how you can creatively shape your career as you go into the radically changing world of work. We will focus on meaningful work as a core element of career sustainability and explore ways to design a value-driven path. After completing the course, you will understand how the changing context influences your career agency, how to use narrative to clarify your career identity, how to pursue meaningfulness and how to use radical creativity and design thinking to navigate the uncertain future of work.
Aalto University Summer School offers high-quality multidisciplinary academic courses and programs for the summer teaching period. We focus on challenge-based learning and want our students to experience the Finnish summer and gain international networks while studying topics such as digital business, sustainability, entrepreneurship, leadership or biomaterial science.
The courses and programs are organised at Aalto University's Otaniemi campus, located within a 10-minute metro ride from Helsinki. Aalto University Summer School and the Otaniemi campus have something for everyone.
The summer school scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis for eligible applicants, and they cover course tuition and programme fees.
