Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee

EDI Committee decides on needed Equality, Diversity & Inclusion actions and their implementation, and outlines the EDI plan for a three year period. Committee reviews activities and follows up of action plans.

Aalto University Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee is lead by Provost Kristiina Mäkelä. Besides the chair and secretary, the Committee includes six development managers or equivalent (one from each school), representatives of student union, faculty members and representatives of different services such as HR, communications and legal. The Committee decides on needed Equality, Diversity & Inclusion actions and their implementation in Schools and at the University level, and outlines the EDI plan for a three year period. It reviews activities and follows up of action plans, and communicates on EDI matters in the Aalto community.
