QueerA! is a network for queer staff members from Aalto University across all schools and services.
A! Walk
A! Walks is a summer course centered around walking-based learning, exploring Otaniemi campus and its surrounding urban–natural spaces. Rather than standalone lectures or experiments, the program is designed as a curated sequence of sensory, interdisciplinary walks, guiding participants toward experiences in coexistence, awareness, action, and futures. If successful, A! Walks may be continued during the regular semester.

Life in Academia is a series of talks where experiences are shared, lessons are learned, and new perspectives are embraced.

Societal associations within AYY provide opportunities for developing networks and working life skills, engaging in social advocacy, as well as participating in political and spiritual activities.

Continue an old hobby or start a completely new one, find like-minded friends, learn and gain experiences! There are more than 200 associations operating within AYY, so the range of activities is extensive, spanning from choir singing to climbing and from card games to sailing and Finnish baseball.
