History

Aalto University was established in 2010 as three leading Finnish universities, the Helsinki School of Economics, Helsinki University of Technology and the University of Art and Design Helsinki, were merged.

Materials Matter is the manifest of the Aalto University scientific excellence in materials research at Slush 2018. Now all Aalto University and our dear guests have a chance to see it themselves! We are bringing the exhibited projects to the Dipoli Gallery for all of you to learn more about the exciting world of materials.

Quantum Wheel
Exhibitions and fairs

Engage with physicists, game developers, and quantum art during the Quantum Wheel weekend 15.-17.2.

From 15th until 17th February 2019 the Helsinki SkyWheel and Allas Sea Pool are the base for the 5th Quantum Game Jam; an intensive weekend during which game makers and physicists get together with the aim of creating games that harness the nature of quantum mechanics.
