Aalto student won the Finnish Design Academy logo competition

Finnish Design Academy is a project run by all university level design schools in Finland. The aim is to develop design education in Finland variously. The project set a logo competition open for all students of schools participating the project in autumn. The winner is a logo by Veera Kesänen from Aalto University.

The New Children’s Hospital’s new liturgical textiles represent a modern take on an ancient art form

The liturgical textiles of the New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki were created as a master’s thesis by Terhi Laine,at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, and were woven by Lapuan Kankurit.
