Make space for creativity

TiLA! offers studios and shared work areas for people working in the creative industries in Otaniemi, Espoo. It’s a community where peers learn from one another and provide mentoring. Tila connects Aalto University’s top expertise in research, art and entrepreneurship with the City of Espoo’s entrepreneurship and cultural ecosystem.

You’ll have access to Business Espoo’s entrepreneurship and business development services, as well as Aalto University’s entrepreneurship services. You’ll also find new doors opening to events and international networks. There’s room for creativity at Tila.

Studios and seats include

  • Community membership and induction
  • Aalto open wireless network (Wi‑Fi)
  • Use of meeting rooms and the shared 'messy room'
  • Use of the communal kitchen and break area
  • Printing and a personal post box
  • Electricity, heating and water
  • Basic cleaning of common areas and standard waste disposal

Workspace in the heart of the Otaniemi campus

TiLA! is located at Vuorimiehentie 2 A (Espoo), just 300 metres from Aalto University Metro station and the nearest bus stop. The central location is convenient whether you live nearby or arrive by public transport from Greater Helsinki region.

The entrance is on the Vuorimiehentie side. The space is on the second floor and is accessible by lift.

Applications open: Aalto Creatives pre-incubator autumn 2026

The next Aalto Creatives pre-incubator starts in September. Applications close on 7 September. Join the info event on 27 August to hear from alumni and meet the Aalto Creatives team.
