Talent Expo

Aalto Talent Expo 2023

Aalto University's largest recruitment event was organised on November 2nd, 2023. The event was organised in Otahalli, where around 5000 Aalto University students and 117 employer organisations had the opportunity to network and create connections. In addition to the live event, students had the opportunity to meet employers at virtual meetings.

Aalto Talent Expo once again brought together students and employers in the fields of art, technology and business in Otahalli in November 2023. The event was organised for the fourth time in 2023, and it has already gained a reputation of consistency among the students and employers. Many of the exhibitors have been joining the event since the beginning, but this year we were once again lucky to welcome new organisations.

The marketing for employers begins well before the summer holidays and continues all the way to September until the registration deadline. If you wish to join the event marketing list, please subscribe here: Aalto Talent Expo mailing list subscription

Many of the students are already familiar with the event and know when to start looking for information about each year's Talent Expo. New students get to learn about Aalto Talent Expo at the beginning of their studies in the Aalto Day One Party. The event is marketed to the students both digitally with newsletters and social media but also with a traditional, printed and home-delivered post card as well as a yearly marketing tour around the lobbies in the Otaniemi campus.

Open Feedback

“I loved the event so much because I met so many potential employers, and I was able to receive the information that I needed to know to help in my planning and strategizing for a potential summer job or master's thesis in the future.” - Student

“The fair was definitely a success. Special thanks for the stickers and for highlighting the positions for non-Finnish speaking students. Would have hoped for more flexibility with the catering ... ” (translated from Finnish)  - Exhibitor

“The environment was great. About companies offering thesis, it seems like most of them don't. Almost all advised to apply for summer training first and later might get a thesis topic .” - Student

“We were participating for the first time, so this was a 'learning experience' for us. Very well organised, lots of visitors, good conversations, but also a lot of feedback and ideas for us for our stand next time. A big thanks for the organisers - you are doing great! :)” (translated from Finnish)  - Exhibitor

“Really enjoyed it, learnt many things, found interesting employers”.
