The electronic portfolio, including the preliminary assignment, must be uploaded to the application form as one PDF file.

In the motivation letter the applicants describe the reasons why they are applying to the major in Film and Television Producing and how their previous work experience, skills and studies provide them a good basis for the studies and make them a strong candidate.

The main purpose of the CV is to show that the applicant has acquired sufficient basic knowledge in film and television producing by providing a list of the applicant’s work experience in the field (work task, time period, employer and the employer’s contact details) and education (educational institution, degree/course, link to the educational institution’s curriculum). Experience and education in other fields should be mentioned.
Applicants without a previous degree or with a degree from another field are taken into account.
The study option does not consider recommendation letters.

Write a fictional producer profile for yourself five years after graduating from Aalto University.
Consider at least the following: What are the core values that guide your work? What sector of the audiovisual industry do you operate in? What kind of audiovisual works do you produce and why do you produce them? Who are your most important partners?
