Job search skills
School of Business Career Services supports students in developing their job search skills in several ways. We mediate information and instructions, organise trainings and offer personal job search guidance and career readiness self-study materials.
Job searching is a skill that is worth actively developing. While articulating one's own skills comes naturally to some, effectively tailoring your message for different employers rarely happens without practice. We offer versatile support for developing job search skills, ranging from self-study materials to personal assistance.

The JobTeaser Job Search Guide contains all necessary instructions for a successful job search. Here you will find instructions for creating a CV and cover letter as well as preparing for interviews. Instructions are available both in written form and as videos. In addition, you can find recordings of some of our previous training sessions.

Job search training
We organise annually trainings on creating a good CV, preparing for interviews, networking, and searching for summer jobs. Training sessions are often held in collaboration with our partner companies and are usually live events on campus. In the training sessions, you will receive excellent tips often directly from recruiting employers!

Personal job search coaching
We also offer personal job search coaching to degree students at the School of Business. In the coaching sessions, we can review your application documents together, prepare for interviews, or discuss other career or job search related questions you may have. Sessions are held both on Teams and in person on campus.
Courses
Aalto University's free, self-paced online courses provide an opportunity to explore the future of work, career design, Finnish working life, creativity, and entrepreneurship. The courses are developed by the Career Design Lab, the School of Business career services, and the faculties of Aalto University, and can be completed at your own pace.
