This service provides staff members and students at Aalto access to the Core Research contents of the Gartner research institute, as part of the library’s other similar research database services. The service is intended for units performing IT research: researchers, teachers and students.

Gartner Core Research is a service that provides research and advice about information technology for decision makers. It provides clients with the base of knowledge and advice needed to capitalize on IT technologies and markets. Gartner Core Research Reference for Higher Education Institutions is an offering designed to meet the specific needs of students, faculty, staff and technology professionals within the institution’s designated campus location.

Limitations

The service is limited to 9,999 users at a maximum.

Access to the service is implemented as a link to the Inside site that performs automatic user registration provided by Gartner. This limits use to Aalto staff and students only.
