Aalto University Digital Design Laboratory (ADD) brings together science, technology, art and economics. ADD explores the potential of digital design, additive manufacturing, 3D printing and digital manufacturing technologies to create commercially viable, culturally-relevant and societally-valuable results

Aalto University Digital Design Laboratory is a research organization launched by the Aalto University School of Engineering and the School of Arts, Design and Architecture in 2012.

The ambition of ADD is to create a university-level innovation platform for direct exposure to the new technologies in the domain, enabling researchers and students from all parts of the university to co-work together and with business and industry
