Technology is one of the cornerstones of society, whether in cities or outside of them. In matters related to homes, food, mobility and many other necessities of life, we depend on functioning technology. Beyond functioning, we must also consider the sustainability of the technology we use, as building something new always requires raw materials and energy – both of which are limited in supply.
At the School of Engineering, we study the built environment, buildings and machines. Our aim is to advance the sustainable development of our society through science.
