Work experience in master's degree

• It is possible to include 1–10 ECTS gained from work experience in the master’s degree.
• Work experience is not mandatory but very much recommended.
• Work experience is included in the elective studies. It is also possible to include maximum of 5 ECTS of work experience in SCI majors: BIOINFO, BME, CS, and NEURO.
• Work experience can be done either in Finland or abroad.
• Work experience has to be related to the programme's studies.
• As a rule, duties performed in the student’s home university, or while holding a position of trust, or student’s own projects are not accepted as practical training
