Bachelor's Programme in Economics is organized by the School of Business.
Economics is a social science that covers a vast array of topics. The combination of economic theory with data analysis and quantitative methods provides tools to address a broad range of economic and societal topics. The demand for specialists with the economists’ skill set has been increasing in both private and public sectors. The mission of the Bachelor’s Programme in Economics is to offer a world-class education that prepares students for careers in economics. The programme draws on the core competences of Aalto University at the Business School and the School of Sciences. It is also well suited for students interested in continuing to MSc and PhD level in Finland and abroad.
