My research focuses on sustainable fashion and clothing in the context of a circular economy. More specifically, I study how clothing designers could contribute to improving sustainability and circularity of clothing textiles. I have educational and professional background in clothing design. Since 2017 I've been teaching and conducting doctoral studies at Aalto University while working in projects linked to circular economy and textiles: Trash-2-CashCrops4Luxury and Finix. I am a member of Fashion/Textile Futures research group that approaches research in the field of fashion, clothing and textiles in multi-faceted ways.
